DAYHUNTER STOVE OPERATION:
1. Open kit and place
DAYHUNTER Stove on a flat, non-flammable surface.
2. Place ½ to 2 oz.
of alcohol in the center opening of stove. (CAUTION: NEVER USE LESS THAN 90% ALCOHOL AS A
FUEL; NEVER USE ANY FUEL, OTHER THAN ALCOHOL) – (HEET (Yellow Bottle)
is recommended, can be found in most auto parts stores.)
3. Light the fuel in
the center of the opening and wait for the fuel jets to ignite and blossom.
4. Now place your pot
directly on the stove or use the wire mesh pot stand for a more stable
base. (CAUTION: NEVER PLACE AN ALUMINUM POT ON A LIT STOVE WITHOUT WATER
IN THE POT – HEATING THE POT WITHOUT WATER CAN/WILL RUIN THE POT FOR
FUTURE USE.)
5. Provided wind screen
is to be used outside of the wire mesh pot stand. (CAUTION: NEVER USE THE WIND SCREEN INSIDE THE
POT STAND AND ONLY USE
THE
WIND SCREEN DURING EXTREMELY COLD/WINDY CONDITIONS. NOTE- DAMAGING/DANGEROUS
CONDITIONS WILL/CAN OCCUR IF THIS CAUTION IS NOT FOLLOWED.)
NOTE:
Basic Use
The Stove is to be used
to boil water for re-hydration of dehydrated foods and/or for hot water
needed for other purposes (i.e.; coffee)
Advanced Use
The Stove will cook food
directly placed within the pot; however a watchful eye must be used
as without sufficient water and/or stirring of contents, scorching will
occur.
LIABILITY
Freedom Design Drafting and Blue Ridge Ultra-Lite Stove Works will not be held liable for misuse
of any of its manufactured products. Responsible use is solely in the
hands of the user. Safe fire practices must be used at all times, while
following all local, state and federal regulations concerning fire use.
WARRANTY
Warranty is simple:
As long as the STOVE KIT is used as advised
within this document the user will receive years of continued use of the stove and
the contents of the entire kit. However, if a component fails while
using as designed, Blue Ridge Ultra-Lite Stove Works will repair or
replace the component at the discretion of Blue Ridge Ultra-Lite Stove
Works.
